Stars n' Stuff
The world looks so small,
when you're a thousand miles away from it all,
floating in a metal ball,
and no one besides your partner upon which you can call.
When I was six or seven,
this place was my idea of heaven,
but now that I reside here, I feel less than,
because there's nothing greater left for me to invest in.
A crisis in space,
an odd place.
too focused on the race,
too late to slow my pace.
What a waste.
